NSW: Woman thrown from moving car
SYDNEY, Aug 4 AAP - A teenager was in a critical condition today after being thrown
from a moving car in Sydney's south-west overnight.
Lidcombe police today said they were investigating witnesses' reports that the woman
may have been abducted before being thrown from the vehicle.
They appealed for public information in a bid to determine what happened to the 19-year-old
woman, who suffered head injuries.
They said one witness told investigators the woman may have been dragged against her
will into a car on Church Street, Lidcombe, shortly before 7.30pm (AEST).
She was then either thrown or fell from the car a few hundred metres away on Swete Street.
Police said several witnesses had left the scene and they were urged to contact Auburn
Police on 02 9646 8699 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
