FED:Treasurer delays mid-year fiscal review

BRISBANE, Jan 1 AAP - Queensland Treasurer Andrew Fraser says the state's finances
will be hit by a double whammy because of the devastating floods.

He says not only will the government be hit with massive clean-up, recovery and assistance
costs, but its income from mining royalties will be heavily reduced for the next two to
three months because of lost productivity.

"Our economic recovery was underway, but this will undoubtedly set us back," Mr Fraser
